Ingrown nails are a common problem for both men and women, which is usually caused by:

If an ingrown nail is left untreated, the inflammation may grow and cause a bacterial infection with serious side effects. If redness and inflammation do not subside and there is any puss-like discharge, please contact a doctor as soon as possible.
