Psychologist Sandra Howarth and Doctor-Resident in Psychiatry Maria Lugenberg are now offering appointments in Valvekliinik.
We welcome children, adolescents and adults speaking Estonian and English to appointments.
The most frequent reasons for visiting our specialists are anxiety-related problems, issues with low moods and depression, activity and attention disorders, learning difficulties in school and school stress, behavioural issues, social-emotional problems, complications in relationships, motivation issues, etc.
The goal of counselling is to offer support with social-emotional, personal, developmental, and educational problems. The psychologist will refer to a specialist or a doctor, if needed.
The psychiatrist welcomes all people from the age of 12, who have:
- anxiety;
- low moods and depression;
- attention and concentration disorders.
We also welcome adolescents with learning difficulties, school stress, and behavioural issues.
n addition to discussing and working on problems described as the cause of the visit, we will also discuss overall coping and wellbeing (family, work, social relationships, studying, hobbies) and the previous life.
After the first appointment, a diagnosis will be made and the psychiatrist will give recommendations for any future examinations. Treatment will be subscribed if needed and possible.
