You can come to the health examination for a certificate for a weapon’s permit without a prior appointment or book an appointment on our website. To save time on-site, please fill in the health declaration at www.digilugu.ee before the visit. If you are unable to fill this in digitally, you can conveniently do it on paper on-site.
An assessment of mental health problems by a psychiatrist is required for the issuance of a weapons permit medical certificate. During the health check, a doctor or a nurse will assess your health condition, and if there are no health problems that prevent the issuance of the certificate during the health examination, we can issue the certificate on the same day.
Please bring an identity document and, if necessary, aids used either temporarily or permanently – glasses, contact lenses or other – to the health check.
If the issuance of a certificate is contraindicated based on the health examination and previous medical history, the amount paid for the examination will not be refunded.
