Since graduating from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Tartu, dr. Sandra Kase started her residency in the field of Oncology and has worked in the major hospitals of Estonia and part-taken in speciality training as part of her residency. She has also spent part of her residency at Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau in Barcelona, at Královské Vinohrady University Hospital in Prague, and at Pauls Stradiņš Clinical University Hospital in Riga.

During her residency, she also simultaneously worked in the Emergency Medicine Department of East-Tallinn Central Hospital. She is a PhD student in Medical Sciences at University of Tartu since 2021. Dr. Sandra Kase joined Valvekliinik in 2019.

She believes that in order to become a good and trustworthy doctor, one needs to have a wide variety of knowledge and experiences and being a good doctor is not only based on actions, but also the nature of the person.
