Maarja-Stiin Siirand has worked as a nurse in the oncology department and the haematology department at the North-Estonian Regional Hospital. She is specialised in haemophilia nursing.

Maarja-Stiin worked as a service consultant in Elisa when she discovered her interest in medicine. She started working as an assistant in an emergency medicine unit and worked on getting her nursing degree while doing that. During her studies, she gathered practical experience in various healthcare institutions. Her main position is as a stationary nurse in the haematology department at the North-Estonian Regional Hospital. Maarja-Stiin is specialised in bleeding illnesses, including haemophilia.
